Gospel

When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had been buried four days before. (John 11:17)

Martha said to Jesus, "If you had been here, Lord, my brother would not have died" (John 11:21)

Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even though he dies" (John 11: 25)

The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped in grave cloths, and a cloth around his face. (John 11:44)

Final Reading
(Before Recessional)

Dear Friends! Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Whoever loves is a child of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.  This is how God showed his love for us; he sent his only Son into the world that we might have life through him. This is what love is. It is not that we have loved God , but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven.

Dear friends, if this is how God loved us, then we should love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made perfect within us. (1 John 4: 2 - 12)
